Bee Nights

Join us for an informal and lively evening of instruction on the second Tuesday of every month from October to May, where a new quilt-oriented project is taught. All skill levels are welcome. Coffee, tea and cookies are provided, but please remember to "Lug-a-Mug"

7pm in St. Joseph's Church Hall - 200 Morrish Road, Scarborough

 

 

Workshops

Several workshops, for a reasonable fee, are offered on different techniques and skill levels. Instructors are either Guild members or recognized teachers. Coffee and tea are provided by the Guild.

 

Quilts from the Heart

Quilts from the Heart is the Guild's community service project. Crib and cuddle quilts are made by members to comfort children whose lives have been disrupted. Kits are prepared by a committee and distributed throughout the year to volunteer members. To date, over 1400 quilts have been distributed to various women shelters and hospitals.

 

Special Events

Get-away weekends and bus trips are organized by the Guild. There have been many exciting trips to various Ontario & U.S. locations.

Lacaster -Helen Hansler won the Bernina sewing machine donated by the owners of Zooks/ Sauders.
